I'm one of those people that is much more interesting online than in real life! I like being in a place where I can carefully draft what I'm going to say, and I can curate stuff a bit. That's not to say that I won't share; if anything I'll overshare!
The Good-Yeah Mum
I'm a Canberra mum (born and bred!) of two, one nearly 12 and one sadly gone too soon. I am trying hard to make the most of my life in his honour. My partner Anthony and I have been knocking around together almost 21 years. Ok, that is a little freaky right there!
What do I do?
I am one of those people that takes on way too much! I have a bit of a short attention span and love taking on exciting new projects. Most of the time I'll follow them through! I work in educational technology, having given up the exciting but crazy world or primary school teaching some years ago.
I am heavily involved in the Canberra Lego community, and am now building things for the annual Brick Expo (that I help to organise), finally graduating to true AFOL (Adult Fans of Lego) status.
I'm also a keen food grower; though I never seem to have enough time to get it quite the way I want it. I am a Sh'Bam instructor, semi-obsessed Foo Fighters fan, keen (but exceptionally amateur) photographer and I recently took part in Canberra Tourism's Human Brochure campaign. Ask a busy person right?
Why do I blog?
I love to write, I like to share my experiences with others, and ultimately, I hope that one day I might be able to help someone through my writing.
What do I want?
Ideally, I'd love a rich benefactor! I'd love to not have to work so that I could focus on all of the things above. I'd love to see Italy and New Zealand. I want my son to grow up happy, healthy and successful. I want to share my stories with you.
